This photo was taken close to the end of our trip and from one of my most favorite spots. A location which had been on my bucket list and I can’t wait to go back. The weather was gorgeous, we took amazing hikes and everything I saw made my jaw drop.
For this adventure we climbed 600 steps to reach the top, the girls were troopers and in this photo, Andrew takes a pic of Nadia, as Siena climbs the stairs to meet them. I, per the usual, was picking up the rear and snapped a photo of the family among the scenery.
Over 3.5 million people visit this park per year and at this specific location 14 people have died. People make foolish mistakes when in nature, they can be overcome by beauty which might make them careless. It is a sad and strong reminder that when you are in nature, you are a guest and need to be careful, cautious and respectful.
